Cree Indigenous Art

Acrylic Art

My art reflects âtayôhkan ekwa okâwîmâwaskiy- spirit animals and Mother Earth. The thing that I love about my art is that everyone sees something different. Animals and places remind us of people, and I am happy that my art can create emotions and remembrance to others.  My pieces have movement and are meant to feel alive, just like the spirit animal reflected in each painting.

I like to work with vibrant colours, symbolizing cîpiyak nîmehitowak- the northern lights (spirits dancing in the sky). With my art, I hope to bring back the stories and language of my people that have been forgotten. Every relative tells a story and when I paint them, their stories come alive again.

Prints of my acrylic art are available for printing on nearly any material through my Redbubble shop, and I sell prints and cards at my shows and performances as well. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing some of my work.

Other Art & Commission Work

Acrylic art isn’t all I do! I create beadwork, leatherwork, and multi-media work too! Additionally, I also offer traditional Indigenous beading courses, and programs including leather, mitts, moccasins and dream catcher courses.

If you are interested in a commission piece, or in arranging Indigenous art training sessions for a class, group, or event, please get in touch. I would love to share the art of my culture with you!

Mural Work

I have painted murals for BUMP Mural Festival, UofC Faculty of MedicineArcadia Brewing, Holy Redeemer High School, Jasper High School (interactive mural painting with youth), and Vanier Elementary High School.
